More than 40 schools from across the borough competed in the Primary Schools Cross-Country Competition at Crystal Palace.

Fifteen hundred participants took part in the volunteer-run event which has run biennially for the last 25 years.

Co-organiser Giles Platt said: “We were fortunate with the weather and it proved to be another wonderful event for both participants and spectators with special thanks to the vast numbers of volunteer helpers, young and old alike who gave up their time so generously.”

The winning teams included Chislehurst Church of England Primary School, School Road, Chislehurst, Parish Primary School, London Lane, Bromley, and Pickhurst Junior Academy, Pickhurst Lane, West Wickham.

Having a brand new kitchen is something that lots of people want but can only dream of. Sadly keeping up to date and making our living spaces as nice as they can be is a costly and incredibly stressful business. Even a fresh coat of paint makes all the difference but isn’t easy or quick.

Who wouldn’t love the chance to go on a shopping spree. Imagine being able to walk into a shop and choose whatever your heart desires without having to worry about how much it costs.
