Exeter 2-3 Millwall
New signing Chris Taylor was the hero for Millwall as his second half brace gave the Lions a 3-2 victory in their pre-season friendly against Exeter City at St James’ Park on Saturday afternoon.
Kenny Jackett’s side found themselves 2-1 down at half-time, after Exeter responded to Liam Feeney’s early opener with goals from Arron Davies and Alan Gow before the break.
But Taylor, a recent signing from Oldham, netted his first goals for the club to complete a confidence building comeback for Millwall.
Taylor’s first was an instinctive finish after Scott Malone’s diven coss was parried away by Exeter goalkeeper Rhys Evans,
He then completed the comeback with a cool finish from another Malone cross, as the Lions held on for the win.
Exeter: Evans, Amankwaah, Baldwin, Coles, Moore-Taylor (Wannell), Sercombe (Keohane), Oakley (Frear), Bennett (Doherty), Davies, O’Flynn (Cureton), Gow (Bauza).

There will be a Norwich City connection at the London Olympics Handball Arena this summer, after Team GB unveiled its first ever squad to compete in the sport.
