Millwall boss Kenny Jackett has vowed to attack Bolton from the off when the two sides meet in the FA Cup fifth round on Saturday.

The Lions are struggling in the Championship this season but enjoyed success in the fourth round against Championship high-fliers, Southampton.

The south Londoners played out a 2-2 draw at Brighton on Tuesday and Jackett believes there are plenty of positives to take from the game.

“We will try and play football and we will go into the cup tie with confidence following on from this performance,” he said.

“One thing for sure is that we will go attack as a group.”

Bolton are currently in the Premier League relegation zone and Owen Coyle will be hoping that a cup run can boost his side’s confidence.

“We are a point from safety in the league, we are in the last 16 in the cup and now, we will look to go and win this cup tie to give us the momentum to move forward,” the Trotters boss said.

“We always remain true in our belief that we will remain in the Premier League - if people want to make more of it than what is there, it is up to them.”
