Gary Alexander, now with Brentford, gave his views on the Lions

Former Millwall favourite Gary Alexander backed his old team-mates to beat Middlesbrough at The Den tonight.
The 32-year-old spent three years with the Lions, making 86 league appearances and scoring 19 goals.
The south London club are only three points above the drop zone but Alexander believes his former club can triumph.
“Definitely, they can beat Middlesbrough tomorrow night,” he told London24.
“Anyone that’s been to Millwall before know that they can beat anyone at The Den.”
The striker has been surprised to see the Lions struggling this season, after finishing in ninth last season.
“They’re not doing as well as I thought they would after last season,” he added.
“I heard they played pretty well against Bolton on Saturday and now they’re out the cup they can concentrate on survival.”
Alexander is now at Brentford and he has been in good form for the Bees this season, scoring 14 goals in 27 games this season.
