Transfer news: John Sullivan may leave the club
Charlton goalkeeper John Sullivan is set to make a loan switch in order to gain some match practice.
The Addicks preferred Ben Hamer in goal, meaning the 24-year-old was a regular substitute and manager Chris Powell wants to give him some more match action.
“John was excellent for us last year and played a few games, but we want him to play regularly and we’re hoping something might happen there,” he said.
“He’s still our keeper and is coming out to Spain with us, but long-term we’d like him to get some game time.”
Brazilian restaurant owners Mariana and Marcos Camarotte were delighted when they found out their country’s national team would be making their Olympic base in their neighbourhood.
