Thousands are set to flock to Headcorn Aerodrome for the eagerly anticipated Southern Model Show.

The two-day even returns on September 9-10 and is run in association with the Maidstone Model Flying Club.

It will feature an array of model aircraft, helicopters, ships, tank and other vehicles. In addition, there will be stunts and hundreds of breath-taking displays will be performed by an array of different scale models from across the UK and Europe.

On the ground, there will be off-road buggies, on-road cars, tanks and other fighting vehicles, motorbikes, trucks, and plenty of races.

And on the water too there will be model battleships, lifeboats and submarines.

In addition to the model trade stalls, there will also be an arts and craft village with plenty of local produce on show.

The event runs from 10am to 5pm on both days.
