The annual festival returns this weekend

Crowds are set to flock to Central Park in Dartford this weekend as the annual Dartford Festival returns.

Former Joy Division bassist Peter Hook is set to close the free festival on Sunday with his band Peter Hook and the Light, but not before ska band The Skatonics headline on Saturday, following a set from X Factor winner and Bromley lad Matt Terry.

There will also be performances from The Christians, Space and Ian Prowse, as well as this year’s winner of the town’s battle of the bands, Last Night’s Romance.

Tribute acts to George Michael and Queen are also set to grace the festival stage.
