A Beckenham singer, songwriter will be making an appearance on ITV’s hit show, The Voice UK.

Kit Rice is a new volcalist emerging in the UK’s dance/electronic and urban music scenes.

The Voice, which recently moved to ITV after winning a bidding war with BBC, sees auditionees perform behind the judges backs in the hope of impressing them with purely their voice - hence the name.

Recently Mr Rice had International success on the drum and bass scene with his Brit school alumni and friend, DJ Freek. Their hit song Once Again has been prominently featured on Radio 1, 1xtra and Capital Xtra.

Recently he has spent time in the studio writing his new album, after the success of his latest EP Living Life.

The refreshing 6-track offers a cut across Funk, Soul, UK Garage and Hip-Hop music and showcases his diverse talents. He can count the likes of BBC Radio 1, Ministry of Sound, Fabric, DJ EZ, MOBO and MTV among the tastemakers that have supported his music and sound along the way.

Mr Rice will appear this Saturday night, performing for judges, Will.I.Am, Tom Jones, Jennifer Hudson, and Gavin Rossdale.
