The collection will be on display for a week

A collection of artwork delving deep into the mind of artist Emma Grzonkowski will go on display in Bluewater this weekend.

The work, known as Alter Egos, follows on from the figurative artist’s Seven Deadly Sins collection, as she continues to mirror the various personas within herself and anyone who views her art.

In her own take on the femme fatale character archetype, Miss Grzonkowsi depicts facets of her own inner dialogue, including The Hopeless Romantic, The Destructor, The Manipulator and The Warrior.

Launching on Saturday, the artist will be at Castle Galleries between 1pm and 4pm to meet fans and discuss her inspirations and techniques.

“Alter Egos was many months in the making and there was a real process behind creating each character, so I look forward to talking through my ideas and inspirations. It is my hope that people viewing the body of work will feel they can take on the strong sides of their alter egos and feel empowered in their everyday lives,” says Miss Grzonkowski.

Gallery manager David Evans added: “Emma is a fantastic artist and we can’t wait to welcome her to the gallery to meet our guests and discuss Alter Egos.

“It’s a chance for art enthusiasts and fans of Emma’s work to delve deeper into her processes and techniques, as well as learn more about her previous collections and how she established herself as an artist.”

Prices for the work start from £250, visitors wishing to attend the free event and meet the artist should contact the gallery team to be added to the guest list by contacting:
