A NETBALL player with an outstanding sporting heritage is all set to help her university team win the national champions.

Sarah-Jane Sullivan, 20, from Chislehurst, has played netball for 12 years and began representing England youth teams when she was 15.

It seems that sporting success runs in the family, as Miss Sullivan's grandfather played football for Charlton Athletic, her father played rugby for London Irish and her sister has played international tennis at junior level.

Now a student at university studying Human Biology, she is a crucial part of Loughborough Lightning netball team as they prepare for the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) championships in Sheffield on March 10 to 14.
